In just four hours, you will learn about home, automobile, phone, technology, personal safety—and much more!

CHP Instructor Class (SOLD OUT)

Course Length - Basic Instructor Training (BIT) is 6 hours. NRA Basic Pistol Instructor Course is 10 hours. PREREQUISITES - BEFORE attending this course you MUST: 1. Be a current NRA member. 2. Contact your NRA Training Counselor, Damian Leger at 855-999-4867 to review all requirements. 3. Register online at the NRA portal - 4. Have completed the Instructor Led STUDENT version of the NRA Basic Pistol Course to include the test, and present the provided completion certificate on day 1 of class. CLASS DAY REQUIRED ITEMS – • Your own firearm w/holster & a belt. • 2 magazines or 2 speed loaders if using revolver. • 50 rounds ammunition. • Eye & ear protection. • Appropriate attire for the range (NO low cut, or v-neck shirts, NO sagging pants, NO open-toe shoes). * Printed course materials sent to you by email. Church Security INSTRUCTOR Workshop (12/9/17)

THIS IS AN INSTRUCTOR CLASS. The objective of this 8 hour workshop is to educate & assist instructors in standardizing development of their own programs to satisfy Louisiana State Police requirement of "8 hours additional tactical training" to legally allow concealed carry in a house of worship. We will cover all legal requirements from Louisiana State Police under LA RS 40:1379.3 (U) as well as all relevant areas relating to this activity in a house of worship. This comprehensive program has been developed with input from a sizable & diverse group of Louisiana CHP instructors from across the state.
